The 12th annual Les Nouvelles Esthetiques Spa Awards in association with Les Nouvelles Esthetiques Paris, was held on Sunday the 24 July 2016, at the prestigious Maslow Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg.

The Les Nouvelles Esthetiques Spa Awards Gala Dinner evening was filled with excitement and glamour as some of the industries most respected and well-known names and media came together to acknowledge their peers.

The evening was themed a Night at the Opera, and graced by the talented Christine Mansour, while guests enjoy the opportunity to adorn masques and celebrate.

This year our very own Dr. Diaho was recognised with an award for her contribution to the heart of the Beauty, Health & Wellness industry – our people.

The success of previous awards has seen the event increase in stature each year. This has provided the South African and International Spa visitors and media with a comprehensive choice of award-winning spas and a reliable source of spa information and recommendations within South Africa.

The 2016 Spa Awards consisted of six Categories; Day Spa, Hotel Spa, Boutique Hotel Spa, Unique Spa Concept, Safari Spa and Aesthetic/Medi Spa categories.

Although there is a large amount of focus on the above, there are still a number of individuals who go above the call of duty. The fruits of their efforts or innovations are enjoyed not only by the people around them but throughout the industry.  The Spa Recognition Awards include four categories: The Spa Ambassador Award, The Humanitarian Award, The Spa Visionary Award and Spa Management Excellence Award.

This year we are proud to announce that we received The Humanitarian Award!

The Spa Humanitarian Award is awarded to a person or group who are actively concerned about promoting human welfare. The 2016 humanitarian award was awarded to our very own Dr. Mothomang Diaho, Founder and Medical Director of the Lifestyle Clinics Spiral Aloe (Pty) Ltd, where we are dedicated to promoting lifestyle as the medicine.

After more than 30 years as a public Heath practitioner and Senior Health Consultant, her work and contributions have covered countries such as South Africa, Lesotho, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Mozambique, Botswana and Swaziland.

We celebrate this win as a team and strive to keep up the good work.
